about me
I'm a designer with a forager's heart. There's magic in wandering the forest with no guarantee of discovery, yet always finding something worthwhile. Mushroom hunting teaches me what great design requires:
patience to observe closely
curiosity to look beneath the surface
and joy in the pursuit itself π
Architecture, a fusion of rationality and creativity, engineering and art, is the field where I've spent 7 years in school to hone my skills, laying a robust foundation for my career path that has branched into similar yet diverse directions:
-
π My career as an architectural designer has been focused on creating delightful spatial experiences, focusing on shaping the interactation between users and their environment.
As a good communicator, I enjoy and am good with people. In my four years of work, I have participated in more than 10 large-scale projects involving large teams and once even over 200 stakeholdersπ¨πΌβπ§π¨πΏβπΌπ·π½π©π»ββοΈπ©πΎβπ... As the "info desk" on this project, I ensured smooth coordination and on-time delivery of this complex, dynamic, fast-paced project. This experience greatly enhanced my communication and collaboration skills.
-
π± In my current role as a Product Designer, my passion for crafting delightful user experiences remains unwavering. What's changed is the scale of impact and the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of talented individuals. I particularly appreciate the direct engagement with users and stakeholders, allowing me to make informed and honest design decisions through practices such as user research and usability testing.
-
π½οΈ As a part-time content creator & researcher co-running a popular science video channel, I excel in data-informed research and storytelling. Within the first 2 years, it has grown from 0 to 2 million followers across different social media platforms. So far, I've written content for 100+ videos and developed my unique research methods.
I love research because it keeps me curious, mindful, brave, and open-minded. I particularly enjoy user research because it involves a lot of human psychology.
